Yangshan Port is a large deep-water seaport located on the rugged island of Shengsi County, Zhejiang Province, off the southeast of Shanghai, China. It is an important part of Shanghai Port, with the main part located on Xiaoyang Mountain. Yangshan Bonded Port Area, located in Yangshan Port, is the first bonded port area in mainland China. Among them, the area of Xiaoyangshan Port Area is 2.14 square kilometers, mainly composed of Yangshan Container Terminal, Yangshan Natural Gas Terminal, and Yangshan Shenkang Oil Depot, etc.; the land area is located in Luchao Harbor, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, with an area of 6 square kilometers. The administrative jurisdiction belongs to Zhejiang Province and is operated by Shanghai International Port (Group) Company Limited (formerly known as Shanghai Port Authority). The entire Yangshan Port project is planned for 2020, with a total length of more than 10 kilometers of deep-water shoreline for the construction of terminals, more than 30 deep-water berths for containers, and a designed annual throughput capacity of more than 13 million TEUs.
